I am from Ohio and have been watching Bob's videos for several weeks now, which I am enjoying and learning alot.  I am retired, but do prepare tax returns during the tax season for extra income.  I have a 22' travel trailer and want to do fulltime traveling, but cannot convince my husband to join me.  With having some unresolved health issues for the past 2 years, I am not able to take off by myself at this time, but soon.  Until then, I will watch the videos and enjoy others travels.

Just a suggestion, you may try showing some of these better videos to the hubby and he might just get the bug. I mean the nomad bug not the bad one. And again it’s only my only opinion. But can you start him out on a day or two and then a week at a time he might just be scared when you’re talking about going and going and going.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

I’ve met several people who are married and one hits the road for long periods every year.

I guess it depends a lot on your marriage.

Go for it.

Can you do short trips, like 2-3 nights?

It doesn't have to be all or nothing.

For years many sailors families have have managed 6 months at sea and six months home.
