New saving stage

Hello there everyone!

Such a great forum to find out the blue for me.
I'm 22 and in community college for basically welding and working in a retail store currently
I am currently living with my parent, basically going to save all funds I can earn towards a Cargo Van.

the idea of living inside a van or vehicle for me revolutionary for me.
Currently at a baby stage in terms of funding, but my financial aid can help boost it
higher as I don't use the funds for books because it's all hands on for welding.

I plan on being able to purchase a Cargo van by late Spring or early summer of next year
by taking two jobs until then. lots of planning ahead !

Many find this lifestyle freeing for different reasons; I'm sure you have your reasons and will find it freeing too.

Welcome Rappy! I'm young like yourself. I think a lot of us younger folks are starting to realize we can do away with traditional living as well as reduce our carbon footprint. What did you have planned for work/travel? What kind of vehicle in particular are you looking to buying? Cheers!

I plan on getting a Cargo van similar to 2theStreet / CycleCruza
Basically I'll use the Van to travel to work until I can afford enough for a secondary vehicle
like a motorcycle, because they always have been interesting to me.

its a huge leap but I am positive that i'll make the journey.
Can't wait till I have enough funding saved ! ! !
