Well, it's been a bit and I've been somewhat remiss w. photos 'n such. On the road and having a blast in the hills so.. here they are! <br>&nbsp;First, there are the slide-out side storage boxes. The front shelves, over the bed, have rounded corners so I don't tear a divot outta my head.<br><img style="cursor: -moz-zoom-in;" rel="lightbox" src="/file?id=1556118" class="decoded bbc_img"><br><img style="cursor: -moz-zoom-in;" rel="lightbox" src="/file?id=1556119" class="decoded bbc_img"><br><img style="cursor: -moz-zoom-in;" rel="lightbox" src="/file?id=1556120" class="decoded bbc_img"><br><br>&nbsp; I took out the sink (which is almost never used), and put a storage compartment in there. The top flips up to access it.<br><img style="cursor: -moz-zoom-in;" rel="lightbox" src="/file?id=1556130" class="decoded bbc_img"><br><br>&nbsp; Ive also got LED ceiling lights, and a 7W 12v fluorescent fixture.&nbsp; <br><img style="cursor: -moz-zoom-in;" rel="lightbox" src="/file?id=1556115" class="decoded bbc_img"><br><br>&nbsp;Notice all the stuff hanging from hooks and my metal detectors (in the bags), bungeed to the ceiling? Gotta luv them hooks.<br>&nbsp; Last, I've got a pic of how it looks from the outside. I raised the roof abt 6" so that I can sit comfortably inside with it down and, due to a screwup, to accommodate the too short pneumatic struts I stuck in to make up for the weight of the solar on the roof and stuff hanging inside. They provide about 150 lbs of lift. I'll be getting longer 'n stronger ones when I get to the city, but they'll do for now. That's about it, till I take more pics. ..Willy. <br><br>

&nbsp;Water's runnin' pretty high right now but, in another month, it's off to the goldfields! Ever up this way, and we can get in contact, I'll show ya some nice country w. decent gold.<br>&nbsp;I like these old units cuz it doesn't really matter what I do to them. More about function than looks and whatever works gets done. ..Willy.

I had an Alaskan Camper back in 1968 and still thinking about that thing whenever I see them on the road.&nbsp; It was like another world inside that thing.&nbsp; The insulation factor, the amenities and layout and the comfort made it extremely easy to spend a lot of time in..&nbsp; Wish I had it now!

&nbsp;Well, so far all is going well. Really regretting not having bought those 4 pneumatic lifts. I've got those shorter ones on, at present, but can't lower the top section down all the way. Might just make an extended bracket outta some metal but.. feelin' lazy. There's DEFINITELY a savings in gas, even with the top set 6" higher, so enjoying that benefit. Been out in the hills with it too, and the lower CG really helps on those rough FS roads. ..Willy.&nbsp;
