Hi all,
Planning to join the van dweller life.  Haven't tried in it before yet, but have always wanted to hit the road and kids now grown so Im ready to roam.  My goal is to camp/boondock during week and still work remotely online for awhile.  In my plan Id work M-F then take my motorcycle out for weekend trips around the area.  Ive watched pretty much all of Bob's videos and a converted cargo van is what I am looking to do as i like the simplicity of it.  Thinking over options on how to transport the bike though is something Im still researching, as its a big bike, Bmw R1200GSA, thinking possibly towing cargo trailer for it, but just not sure yet :)   Definitely open to any suggestions, and if anyone else does/has donr this before as one question is what to do with rigwhile boondocking?  Not sure how safe Id feel in leaving rig in say BLM land while taking the bike out for a day or two on weekend.  Anyways, saying Hi to all and reviewing the forum to see what i can learn.

Welcome! cheapest option re bike transport for an R series would be an open trailer, though I totaly understand a preference for an enclosed
as far as parking on BLM land and not seeing your rig for the whole weekend, that'd likely bother me, too, I'm curious how that'll be answered

Hi Wandering i, welcome to the forum. Best of luck to you on your adventure!

Thanks ArtW, yah, i like the enclosed just for stealth camping and also can use for motorcycle gear too.  Also looking at the rear hitch type carriers though concern would be too put 600lb bike on the back.  Anyways, Ill go through old posts and see if already a thread and if not Ill post it as a new thread.

Do this in subforum that fits. Better chance of getting "expert" answer.
