Been a longtime motorcycle/tent camper, and occasionally camp in my Dodge Grand Caravan minivan (aka "The Man's Minivan!"). With my father passing away a few months back, I have inherited his old '86 Ford E150 van, and am intending to make a true camper/RV out of it. I am looking towards retirement in the not-too-distant future (I'm a 56 year old IT guy), and want to do some traveling. Maybe become a full-time RVer if it suits me. So I have a lot of studying to do, and this forum looks to have some good info. I will be asking lots of questions as I embark on the steep learning curve. The plus factors are that I have been doing the maintenance and servicing on this van over the years and know it pretty well, and am handy with tools - Dad was a big DIYer and taught me a fair bit and I inherited his stash of tools too.

Lance
