I just signed up not too long ago, thought I would come by and say hello to everyone. I'm Shane and I plan on (hopefully) buying some sort of RV soon to do some traveling for my photography. I will probably end up living in it as well to save money, plus I am not married and have no kids so space wont be too much of an issue. I look forward to reading posts on here and getting to know some people. I may pick your brains from time to time, I am an information addict!
I have not had a chance to read the rules yet, am I allowed to post a link to my own personal website here? Its not advertisement, just photos....mostly nature.

Hi Lucid! I checked out the page. Very nice work! Welcome to the group.

Welcome Lucid. Nature photography is my major hobby, and I have found that living in a vehicle is tremendously helpful. So much of it is waiting (for the best light, storm to gather or clear, trailhead to open, wildlife to cooperate, etc) that having a comfortable home to wait in is almost a requirement. A few years back I was in Colorado shooting fall colors and got hit with a foot of snow. I was so glad I was in a camper and not a tent!

My brains have already been picked; nothing left.

Have fun!

Van.

Thanks Bob. I do like to camp out in a tent often but I think when I am out on the road in strange places, I want a place to kinda feel like home and also have that added safety. I imagine a foot of snow on a tent would not be fun haha. I definitely want to get out and just take my time waiting for those perfect conditions to get the photos I want and like. I've just recently became serious about having photography as a hobby/future profession but for the last 10 or so years, I have always had a regular point and shoot digital camera handy when I was hiking and such. I find it relaxing.

Thanks for the tip Van ha!

Welcome, Lucid. Great photos. Thanks for posting the link. I'm an information addict myself, so I know the feeling.
