Need North NM State Park with Verizon signal

Need to spend a few days doing research and need a NM State Park with good Verizon signal and electric unless it's high elevation enough to stay cool without A/C, >8500

There's a cell tower just down the road to Bluewater Lake. Same with Manzano Mountains.

I remember there's NO signal at Fenton Lake, Morphy Lake, Coyote Creek, Cimarron Canyon. Not sure about Villanueva, and Heron Lake.

But, you know, Labor Day weekend is coming up. You might not be able to get in any of them.

I'm in Northern New Mexico all summer. Great signal at Eagle Nest State Park, but no spaces until Monday. . No electric or tent spots, nor are you allowed to "park"in marina overnight. I'm west of the park and right now it's 63F.

But, I've found that I have more signal on Tmobile almost consistently. I'm right now just pulled over by the side of the road for the night. I'm online and downloading a movie right now on tmobile while my Verizon phone has no signal at all. Hubby metal detecting at old house and found a great find today!

Here in Taos, on the opposite side of the Enchanted Circle from Eagle Nest, we have strong Verizon coverage & tons of various camping options, mostly free & mostly on Federal land.  Taos is seldom hot at 7,000 feet & our annual week or so of needing a/c has come & gone, in spite of a delayed monsoon season.  There's also cooler, higher elevation camping if you head up to Taos Ski Valley - base elevation 9,300'.  As beautiful as your current area is, Taos is New Mexico's diamond in the rough, where even seasoned wanderers will want to settle in for a while to soak up some of what makes this area so vibrant & unique.  Jim

I stayed one night at Eagles Nest and couldn't get a Verizon signal. I have had terrible luck all around with Verizon.
Might change before my 30 days is up.

I love Taos area and, even before checking in online this morning, decided to head that way first of the week.

You should have Verizon signal at Navajo Lake State Park. As well as sites with electric. Jeff

A signal amplifier/booster is almost a requirement for this lifestyle of you need internet. I have a Wilson Weboost (cradle model) with a truckers antenna. When this won't pull in a signal, I break out the directional antenna on top of my painters pole. I get a signal when no one else does. I have a verizon phone and hotspot as well as a AT&T Mobley ($20 mo) that I use. I have never had anyone that had a signal when I didn't with these two. Others carry more cell provides.

I forgot to mention I do have a weboost OTR. I have Wilson's directional antenna as well but don't have it rigged up yet.
Been studying on trying to mount a telescopic mast to the truck for it and figure out the particulars of adding cable. I'm pretty green about that although I have a basic understanding of impedance and such.
