I ordered a Cargo Trailer (6x12) from Skyline... it SHOULD be ready sometime in Dec 2016... I'm moving out of my apartment in Colorado Springs Dec 1...

Right now, I have an F150 with a topper that I hope to sleep in until I get the trailer.   Does anyone have any suggestions where to camp between 12/2 and delivery of my trailer?       IN TEXAS... ( just realized I forgot to mention that)   RV parks are something I would consider... if I could use a tent to sleep in with my 2 doggies.  BLM or National Forest around there?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Pat

If you are coming down I-35W you will be passing within 1/4 mile of my poor old hovel, you are welcome to stop, clean up and have a cold beverage if you like. I'm on the north side of Ft Worth.

mighty kind of you, Gunny.  might take you up on that!  If not this time, maybe another ... my sister lives in New Braunfels, and I plan to visit her a lot when I'm on the road.

Thanks,

Pat

I was in New Braunfels last Thursday. Took the long way around to miss Austin traffic. Lot of road construction and backups at times.

Between Waco and San Antonio, just north of Austin is Tejas Park, Georgetown TX. Primitive camping, Lake Georgetown and North San Gabriel River nearby.  Tents only, I think.  Reasonable rates $6.00/night.  I did a drive through a few weeks ago and there are bathrooms (vault or flush toilets? Didn't go in to see).
Best wishes.
