I bought a 75KW Perkins diesel generator for textile factory.  I have used one years and it keeps run well. But recently, it fails to start although I start it several times and my engineer also tried to start several times but failed. Is something wrong? The configuration is below:

Rated frequency: 50Hz
Rated speed: 1500rpm
Power: 50KW
Power factor: 0.8Lag
Rated voltage: 400V
Genset is equipped with radiator, fuel filter, oil filter and air filter, anti-condensation heater.

Used as standby power.

Engine model is: 1104C-44TAG1
Alternator is: Original Stamford UCI274C
Control module: DSE7320
Equipped with ATS and base fuel tank

Can anyone help to solve the problem?

what type of fuel injection does it have? do you regularly exercise it? do you regularly service it? how old is the fuel? are you getting fuel to the injectors? what type of preheater does it have? does the preheater work? lots of questions. highdesertranger

I'm wondering if you posted to the wrong forum. When I had a ranch of those large generators we used a service company. The mechanic came on site two times a year, changed the oil and did inspection. Including the generator end and switching. If he found a problem he would ask if we wanted to do the work, or he would. I did such as batteries and block heaters he did the major stuff.
