Hi all,<br>Does anyone else have problems with mosquitos getting inside their vehicles?&nbsp; I figure that they're coming in through the window openings, etc.<br><br>If that is the case, what would be a good solution to this problem?&nbsp; I could try installing some sort of mesh screening at all of the openings, or perhaps some sort of Raid bug spray.&nbsp; Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated.<br>

generally I am where mosquitoes arent &lt;grin&gt; but I did get a screen from home depot, and cut it to fit in all my window and door openings, that seemed to stop it.&nbsp; used magnets to hold it tight around the windows<br>

Mosquitoes come in through the body openings, around the doors where the rubber is not quite meeting the frame. Good luck still working on that for mine.<div><br></div><div>Also making another external bug screen, using magnets for the Van,</div><div>the Camper Truck has internal velcro and screen mesh to .. help keep them out!</div><div>working on the rubber mouldings and other openings this week.</div>

I am making screens for the van right now, new ones for the front windows and improving the slider and hatch screens. Magnets and Velcro work well. I am using no-see um netting I bought in bulk off the 'net a few years back.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>Haven't tried it, but a friend of mine used to spray around door seals and edges of his screening to discourage the persistent ones. Said it worked great.&nbsp;</div>

I found there were factory drilled holes in my firewall for internal electonics... pretty big holes, and there was one big hole going from where my car jack was straight through the bottom of the frame... no idea why that was there. look around and get some silocon goo... maybe you have more holes than you thought too... (that sounded horrible)

I have screens on all my windows, as well as on my rear doors but if I am parked in an area where there are lots of mosquitos, I also use a mosquito net that fits over my double bed. I hang it from the roof and spread it out over the sides of the bed. I also use it in the evenings outside I hang it under the awning, let it fall over and around my camp chair. It is a clever little net with a hoop at the top, the hoop folds into itself and the netting just piles into a small shopping bag and I store it on a narrow shelf. I bought two on special for 8.00 each, a few years back a white one and a lime green one. I like the lime green one. They come in handy.

Mosquitos rarely bite me, I must taste bad but I have several friends who get eaten alive. Avon skin so soft does work if you can handle the smell. I hate bug repellants, most of them leave you feeling gooey. New Hampshire had more than I've ever seen anywhere.

check the drain on the bottom of the Heater/AC condensate drain (rubber usually} , they might be breeding in that water .if it doesn't drain. mine stopped up on my Saturn-had water dripping on the carpet was the reason I found it.

Hate bugs!! That said make sure you get the tight no see em mesh screen. These bugs can get in and are near invisible and will bite you up. Take vitamin b12 to decrease your attractiveness.

Greetings!

If the screens don't work too well like mine, I have two surprises for any bugs that dare to trespass.

A) A solar powered bug zapper

B) A Racket Zapper, much more fun hehe

Both should be available via Amazon.

Don't use sprays in your van!

Cheers!
