Sorry if this has been hashed over and over - tried looking for past threads. I'm wondering about using a "hollywood bed frame" to reduce weight in my build. Has anyone done this? Is it viable?

I was thinking about either bolting the frame to the walls or welding legs in the corners and leaving the center open for totes. I'll be putting a fullsize bed across the back doors.  Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated. :shy:

Two-by-twos bolted horizontally to the wall ribs, L-channel steel running between.

I've been considering this as well. My only concern is the noise. We are going for a stealth van so squeaky, bouncy springs might give us away.

If you're talking about the one I posted, no springs, just metal rods
I don't recall any noise even when me and the ex were being sort of energetic, and we were both heavy
