Well it's officially begun.  We are selling the family summer home which has been my "storage unit" for most my life.  Basically it holds everything I don't need but because I had somewhere to put it I never got rid of it.  It does have some of my good stuff there, like  boats and tools.  However i want to be free from these constraints once and for all and attend the 2017 RTR  I'd actually like to be out of town by Thanksgiving.  Don't need another New England Winter under my belt,  35 of em was plenty.

Listed my Lund Boat a few weeks ago and hadn't got any replies, which is very strange, but got a call last night about it and they gave me some cash and hooked her up and drove away this evening.  I forgot how good it feels to get rid of things, that boat took up way too much real estate in my head.

And that first thing selling was all the push I needed.  Listed a bunch of other stuff on Craigslist today, few smaller boats, couple of flatbed/utility trailers, tools I don't need or use that often, etc.  Anything not sold by mid August is being offered to friends and family for free and then to the general public for free after that and goodwill after that.  By September 1st I plan to have my possessions cut by a minimum of 80%

Congratulations. You will feel lighter and freer by the day.

Yee hawwwww!
One less hole in the water to throw money into !

And the sales continue.  Just picked up $800 bucks for a flatbed utility trailer I had.  It was home made in 1989 by my uncle who was an Iron worker.  Even though it was 27 years old it was in really good shape. I don't think you could buy one as well built now a days.  But it does need tires and axles and it will need a new wood deck in a few years.   But if the new owner does those items it will last another 27 years I would think.  He really appreciated the craftsmanship.

Also picked up another $300 bucks selling some extra tools I wont be needing.

Next project......get the ATV running and get it on craigslist.  Think it just needs a new battery.
