Hi all!

I have been following this forum for a while now and thought I would say hello and introduce myself. While I am not a full time traveler, my wife and I do camp and travel with a tight budget.
We have been camping since 1994, the year we got married. Matter-of-fact, we asked for camping equipment for wedding gifts instead of the traditional gifts. Since we did not have a whole lot of money, still don’t, we did much of our camping in the national forest with a Coleman tent, double burner propane stove, lantern and a mess kit.
In 2004, my health declined severely. After many doctor visits and expensive tests, it was concluded that I suffered from an unknown muscular-neuropathy disorder.
However, this was not going to stop us. In 2010 we upgraded to a little pop-up camper (Curly), a 1999 Viking 1706. Our goal is to seek new federal or state parks and adventure and fun!

One of the things we wish we would have done earlier is to journal or blog our trips. We started doing so in September 2012, http://lostincamping.blogspot.com/
I have enjoyed many of the blogs and forum post you guys have put out as well as Bob's work in everything that is cheaprvliving.

Tommy
Thanks Sir Joey! We love our camper and little truck.

The Viking weighs right at 1300 lbs. In back of the truck I have a ice chest, a little fire wood, odds & ends and a mobile scooter. Yesterday me and my father added helper leaf springs. I can tell this will help a lot. I will be posting pictures and an article on the modification either Monday or Tuesday on my blog.

Tommy
