The National Weather Service in Phoenix has expanded the

* Flood Watch to include a portion of southwest Arizona,
including the following areas, central La Paz and Parker
Valley.

* From late tonight through Friday morning

* excessive rainfall

* flooded areas including low water crossings, particularly
across tonto creek, but also other normally dry washers and
rivers. Other communities that may see flood impacts include
New River and Cave Creek, among others.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop."
