It's too large for an Amazon box!

And I am still in Quartzsite in my van.

Anyone have any ideas how I might receive it?

Will the Quartzsite PO accept delivery of a large item?

First of all the USPS (US postal service ie the PO) general delivery service will only accept mail that was shipped using USPS. You can't have it shipped by Amazon unless they send it using USPS postage. But some of the sellers on Amazon do ship directly rather than having the item stored in an Amazon warehouse and they might offer shipping via USPS.

They do have a size limitation at USPS which is:
LargeParcel Maximum size is 130" in combined length and girth (distance around the thickest part). Contents must weigh less than 70 lbs.

(They are a mailing service in Q...…located back behind the Senior Center...…...we used them all Winter)


They'll accept the package for a one-off charge of $5...……….or set up a longer term address with them...……….YMMV
