Interested in visiting Taos/National Monument area. Any thoughts? COVID 19 causing restrictions?

The National Forests were open for dispersed camping when I was there last month.

Currently there is a 14 day self quarantine for anybody entering new mexico, including those that live in new mexico and leave the state for any reason. Masks are mandatory to enter any business. Look up the latest with a google search..it may change.

You can camp at the rest area at the Rio Grand. Also, lots of area around there too. But I stayed at the rest area for a week with no issues. During the day, local vendors setup little booths for selling local items.
