68 years old and and had planned to be at the 2016 RTR.  Plans change.

Note to Forum members: When having a heart attack a good place to be is escorting a friend into the emergency room for his sore knee.
Added bonus is a cardiac surgeon using the "shortcut through the ER" at the same time.

See you at RTR 2017.

YaaRV, welcome to the CRVL forums! I'm sorry about that heart attack. but I am glad you were in the right place at the right time! Lucky you! We'll be looking forward to seeing you at next year's RTR, all recovered and in better health than ever. This lifestyle will do that for you!

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips & Tricks" post lists some helpful information to get you started. We look forward to hearing more from you.

Wishing you a continued recovery from this.  Do take it easy for awhile so you will have your best chance.
I don't know if you have a CB radio in your rig or not, but I've known several people who said that they
believed that it saved their life when they were on the road.

You were certainly lucky to be where you were at the time and the staffing to be so optimal.

I was once driving home on a 4 lane and saw a small Chevy Astro Van coming up the hill on the other side.
It began to swerve a bit and went off the right side into the ditch followed by a cloud of steam wafting up into the air.  A car or two behind it had an antenna on I it and it pulled over with a few other cars to give assistance.   I hadn't traveled 1/4 mile after witnessing this and I heard the Siren go off in the small town I was passing so I'm sure their scanner must have picked on the event or other at the wreck site called in on their Cell's.

In another thread recently we talked about the merits of CB radios.  I've always kept one in my Van where
it is mounted in a removable mount. (so I can keep it out of sight when I'm not traveling or camping)

Best of luck for 2017 :)

Sounds like you sure lucked out!

Very lucky that day.  Helped me to evaluate some of my choices about possessions and downsizing that Bob writes about.

That's darn good planning :)

Seriously though, hope you fully recover and enjoy life!
