What is the brand of safe you put in? I have seen some cool ones, but none big enough for the laptop.

I bought this one. Amazon's choice and 1.2 cubic feet of space inside.

Looks like a good deal and large enough for even my fat laptop, but not fireproof. You could use fireproof folders with it for a little protection.

I guess if you get stolen and torched would be start over time anyway.
