Im new here

[buminavan]

Im new here and never knew a site like this existed. Ive lived in a Ford E250 for almost 3 years. My handle "Buminavan" sounds kinda bad , but Im a very decent man just down on my luck and on SS disability for 12 years. A police officer gave me info on this site in Tucson Az. I am homeless , except for my van. Im trying to find a way out of this trap , and just thought I would check this out. I read a few posts and I guess I got it pretty good compared to others. Ive done it all alone .

There's a valid population out there that don't think being a bum in a van is such a bad thing. You just found 'em! Glad you did!<br><br>And how awesome is that that an LEo directed you to us. Hello Buminavan,<br><br>I would not classify you as a bum.&nbsp; Most bums don't have a home and you do... even if it has four wheels.&nbsp; If you look at the rest of the world, there are people who would love the shelter!<br><br>In the past, I had new cars, a nice mobile home, etc. and lost it all due to mismanagement and some health problems \ mental illness.&nbsp; I feel LESS of a bum today than I did then.&nbsp; Self sufficiency is awesome!<br><br>I don't think there's anybody here that will put you down for living in a van or being on S.S.
