A couple from British Columbia were camped next to me in a unique trailer. The guy built it himself, starting with a small boat trailer. It's about the size of a small truck camper. There's a propane fridge and stove and he runs the water pump, lighting and TV with three 18V power tool batteries. There's a portapotty and the gray water holding tank for the sink is a jug. The whole thing weighs 1,300 pounds and they tow it with a Toyota RAV4, getting 22MPG.

Also, 1x2 framing with 2" rigid foam, skinned with 1/4" plywood.

Nice, love it.
Do they have an online build thread somewhere?
Roof material?
Exterior fiberglassed or simply polyurethane?
Angle iron framed box?

The owners didn't mention an online build thread.

Right now the roof is the same polyurethane as the walls, plus PlastiKote, but that's starting to flake, so he's going to fiberglass it.

Though he said "boat trailer" I suspect it's more like a personal water craft trailer. I didn't look to see if it's boxed.
