I am never happier than when I'm moving and seeing new places. I have serious wandering foot syndrome! So far I've made do with spending winters in Mexico or taking summer trips. My friends all say, but you need somewhere to live! I've felt more and more that this is untrue and frankly maintaining a house takes a lot of money that I'd rather spend on gas to get to my next destination.

I've avoided debt like the plague and was able to retire at 35. I'll be 42 next month. I'm single, with no children. My mini schnauzer has been traveling with me since the day after I got him, including on the back of my motorcycle. So I am blessed to not need to work a job. For me, being thrifty is the ticket.

I'm currently shopping for camper vans. My plan is to pull a 10 ft enclosed trailer behind it to haul my motorcycle and a few other things that I have to have.

I'm a minimalist and I'm shocked at the amount of stuff I've accumulated. I'm really looking forward to selling off everything that I don't need. I lived in a portable dome for a year and absolutely loved it! If it didn't fit in my little Rav 4 or on the 4 X 8 foot trailer with the motorcycle...I didn't own it. I'm ready to get back to that!

I look forward to learning from y'all. I'm so happy I found this forum!
