Hi guys,

I've bought a van and making my setup, but how do you get rid of that van smell overall, what is the best product to clean it around or spray something to kill that stinky/old car smell?
I feel that it's especially bad in cargo vans, but even in my passenger van it's so smelly..

What do you think?

First, need to identify what causes the smell. "Van smell" tells me nothing. Both my vans smell differently. Neither is objectionable.

I don't know what smell you have but used car dealers spray that "New Car Smell" stuff in after the car is detailed. it's that chemical smelling smell that new cars have. or just generously spray the whole inside with vinegar. highdesertranger

i think you might have a water or heater core leak making things all musty and stinky, check the carpets for wet

Get rid of it? Hell how do you bottle it!

What is the odor like?  Musty? Plastics? Rubber? Petrochemicals or other nature? "Old"?

You can ventilate and expose as much as possible to the sun, you can use Simple Green" or the like (any grocery store or WalMart), you can try household white vinegar...

Google "household cleaning odor removal" like I just did and get 625,000 results...
