Just realize I have 'nt give my final update with this issue... well I did use same old plastic that I saved from my camper's left overs plastic parts, and welded directly in cracks (using welding heat gun) Then sanded it and applied fiber glass putty ove it, then sanding, priming & painting. I was happy with the result, but unfortunately, it only lasted a couple of months... cracks came back again !
I decided to simply applied white rv sealant on the cracks in order to seal it tight (to avoid water leaks inside) I tried several ways, but I gave up on this, period !
