Wow. I assumed they were members because they were there but then I also wondered if someone didn't have pity on them and just let them stay. Rather strange as surely it's intended for members who travel and stop in to visit fellow lodges short term.

VT
I'm also checking into the Moose since you posted that they have about 2500 lodges. If it goes to a good cause it's win win.

If you are going to stealth camp, you have to remember the word "stealth." Most people are wrapped up in their own lives. It takes an effort for them to take their attention away from what they are doing and to focus it onto what you are doing. If you are doing something that causes that change in focus, then you are going to have trouble.

Westriver...

2 things

1.) If you think I backed Casey's post soley on the fact that he's been here awhile, then you completely missed my point.

and 2.) I'm also sorry that you felt the need to defend yourself after my post.

My apologies

I'm not 100% but I believe these people showed up at a Walmart here in South Denver about 2 weeks ago. I've been staying at a local walmart because it's close to my job and we had a pop up just like that one show up that also had 2 adults with lots of kids. They had stuff set up all around the RV and managed to get kicked out of Walmart's parking lot after about a week.

I remembered this topic when I first saw them show up. I can't say for 100% but I think it was this same group, however they apparently claimed to be in town from New York for a funeral from what another guy told me.
