I realize everyone's usage will differ...but...I was wondering how long a 5 gallon tank of propane lasts? I know some use it only for cooking and others for cooking, heat and light but just trying to get a "feel" for how much/how long.
Thanks........KinA

In the winter a 20# tank will last two days and a 30# tank will last three days if you're lucky. This is for heat, hot water and a minimal amount of cooking in a 28 foot TT. A 100# lasts a week. Can't figure out why the smaller tanks last longer but my neighbor has the same issue. I'm on day five with my 30# now that the weather is warming up.

I get various times from 20# tanks.
But, a piece of rope is as long as one end to the other, every time.

If you don't heat with it, it will last for at least a month.

A lot depends on how much space you're heating and how well insulated your rig is. ..Willy.

Cooking only, it can last months. I turned off my water heater because it was eating up propane and haven't had my 10 gallon tank filled in 4 months. That said, I have a microwave, so I don't always cook on the stovetop.
