I'm a red-blooded female but I dislike frou-frou. To each his or her own.

Love it, love it, love it!

Glad to know I'm not the only one out there who is thinking pink!

I've seen all sorts of tricked out interiors. Mostly a 1950's theme or a little Shabby Chic. I'm sure you can pick a theme and decorate your heart out. No sense in being "blah" about things. I'm going to use some of that paneling that looks like bead board and, if I can find some, paneling that looks like white brick to go behind the cooking area.

Here's my fave - it's the one that inspires me the most:

http://rosevinecottagetwo.blogspot.com/2008/12/blog-post.html
This girl completely gutted hers and painted, new walls, new floors. May as well decorate while you're at it.

If you look at some of the pics in this Flickr group you'll find really cool red & white floors.

LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! the little yellow stove on this page:
http://thebeehivecottage.blogspot.co.uk/2012/01/ivy-st-market-trailer.html

I don't operate this blog anymore. It just sort of sits there waiting for me to come back, but here's a link to my old blog and a nice lady who fulltimes around the country with her preacher husband.

http://shabbygoodness.blogspot.com/p/motorhomes.html

She has chosen an intersting style.

cb

I love the decor and all the frou frou accessories - what I can't figure out is do those ladies pack/unpack all of that everytime they move their camper? If so, too much work for me - I'll keep looking for the perfect marriage of streamlined/decluttered and feminine

Sure is pretty. Takes my libido. I'll sleep outside tonight.

I am sooooo not a Girly girl! I prefer my surroundings almost Spartan....neat, clean, uncluttered. I would get claustrophobia in those rigs. I recognize the pics from Pinterest. Who has boards on Pinterest? I would love to see them. I will go find a link to my boards...I hope....

For you folks that like this stuff it's often on boards about Sisters On The Fly.

Frou frou: decorative objects with a feminine flavor, I.e., lace, jewelry, ruffles, beads, fabrics that shine or sparkle.

The inside of my van is decorated in a gypsy motif with lots of frou frou. Black, red, purple, gold, silver, brightly colored scarves, ribbons, beads, feathers, a red and gold satin brocade bedspread. A sterling silver wind chime made from an antique sugar bowl and spoons that lightly jingle when in motion. A fake parrot attached to the upper side wall. Scented candles.

Oh, yeah. Definitely a chick van!

Thanks for sharing! Those are beautiful pictures and give me some good ideas, I love the lace and girlie things.

Tina

I like how the light colors make the interiors look much more clean and alive than normal to dark colored interiors.

CCG, this was not posted in the girls room. But I do peek there, also.
