Hi everybody! I currently live in an apartment as I have all of my life (I know, boo hiss lol)
However.... After about a year ago stumbling on videos first by Nomadic Fanatic, then eventually many many other folks on YouTube I had my eyes opened to a new way of living. I am sure many of you have heard this story many a time lol. Now since then... I am in the process of going thru a divorce. (Its a positive move and no hard or hostile feelings - my soon to be ex wife and I are super good as friends) Now I realized however I want something different at 41 years of age...
I currently live in Maine. Its a nice place to live, but as I have been here since the age of 14 I am ready to escape the ice and snow that out winters bring. My plan you ask? The company I work for has several call center locations in our amazing country. I have an amazing cat named Kaylee. She is going to be my road buddy! I have plans to purchase (most likely) a class B rv or a campervan by March of 2018. Could possibly do a van and convert it or even an ambulance. But I am ready to escape the "norm" and have a new view, a new sunset, and a new sunrise every day!!!
In truth I have never been as excited for something in my life!
Now my question... as I said Maine is soon to be in my rear view once I can get into a rig. I have my eyes set on transferring to the Bellingham WA area. (I love the idea of the Nashville area but I have to think of my kitty being in the rv while I am at work and I am pretty sure WA will be better temps for her well being that Nashville. So again my question lol, on an rv or campervan or whatnot, is solar any use at all in Washington during the rainy months and the winter?
Thank you in advance for any thoughts!
