I am new here and wondered if this is the right forum for what I am looking for. I'm  looking for RVers who would like to do some volunteer work in Goldfield, NV as a Visitor Center host. Goldfield is a very famous semi ghost town. We have what is purported to be one of the most haunted hotels in the U. S. and has been shown on the T.V. show Ghost Adventures.

We just opened new Visitor Center here which was a huge undertaking. To keep it open and running affectively is not easy as we only have about 300 residents here. We need someone who would like to come learn about Goldfield and its surrounding area and volunteer at our Visitor Center in exchange for a free place to park your RV with water, power and wifi.

If this is not the place to post something like this, I apologize and will remove this post.

Thank you

This is hands-down the most interesting Post - ever. I've just spent an hour reading about Goldfield. I wish my Scamp was ready.

Hi there and welcome! Can you tell us more about Goldfield, like what's the altitude, what are temperatures like in the summer, and what type of volunteer positions you have open? Thank you!

Hello Mr Moderator, living somewheres in the desert west. It occurred to me that it might be good to have a special forum section devoted just to announcements about job and volunteer offerings, such as posted here. I know there is a Money section, but such announcements will get quickly flooded over by all of the routine postings, whereas they deserve a "sticky" posting, if they are an ongoing thing and not just for a day or two. Just a thought.

Well from The LINQ HighDesertRanger posted it's a great opportunity but I don't like the temperatures too hot in the summertime too cold in the winter time it's not a very good place to be if you're chasing good weather. But that's my opinion I would love to visit that haunted house though that would be cool and fun.

Goldfield is a great little town! And PS you never called Oakley. He is in Dyer a stones throw away
