I would love to give you a tour. I am the tour guide of the town and have keys to a bunch of buildings. You can look me up on justjeri.com and click on Goldfield Tours...

Hi there and welcome!  Can you tell us more about Goldfield, like what's the altitude, what are temperatures like in the summer, and what type of volunteer positions you have open?  Thank you!

Hi,

Goldfield is almost 6000 ft altitude. It is pretty cold in the winter but about 20 degrees cooler than Vegas in the summer. It's a charming town with lots of history and desert riding as far as the eye can see. People love to come here for rock hounding as well. The volunteer position that i'm trying to fill is for our visitor center that just opened in April. It's brand new and a great addition to this small community. We are trying to have it open Wednesday through Sunday. People have lots of questions about this town and the volunteer should be able to at least know where to send people to get those questions answered.

If you would like to discuss this further you can email me at [email protected] or call at 775-485-3783.

Also, you can check Beautiful Goldfield, Nevada Facebook page and my website at justjeri.com.

Hahaha... that would be great for all of us I think as some of the mines are still open and they actually get good stuff out of them. There is a mine that gives tours, but I don't have access to them.
