I’ve always loved camping.  I drug my 2 kids all over the country in a tent, and later in a pop-up.  Now that the kids are grown, I’m ready to spend more time on the road.  Too old and creaky for a tent, I’m picking up an Aliner Scout in a couple of weeks.

I knew I needed to be nearer to nature, so I’ve been looking for a small house with a view in the Ozarks to retire to.  Then I found Bob’s channel and realized what I really want is to retire to full time camping.

Now for cleaning out the house, getting it ready to sell, etc.

In the meantime, I’ll practice with my aliner and decide what I want/need for full time.

(BTW- TV is a 2009 Tacoma)

Thanks to all here for the advice (I’ve learned already from this forum!) and the support these forums offer!

Welcome to the CRVL forums Good ole Eagle! You're going to love camping in the Aliner. A big step up from sleeping on the ground! :)

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips & Tricks" post lists some helpful information to get you started. We look forward to hearing more from you.

Hi and welcome.
I have an Aliner Expedition that I'll be living in starting 3/1 (finally got my house rented!)
It's a ton of work to downsize but soooo worth it. Every trip to the donation station feels like a victory!  Best wishes selling your house and getting free.

Thank you!  I’m looking forward to getting out with my aliner!  Renting the house is a good idea!  I hadn’t considered that.
