Greetings from Tennessee! I’m a child of the 60’s who was filled with the free spirit from the beginning. That and the umpteen times I watched Alice in Wonderland led to an adult fascinated with the adventures of living in a van! The arrival of my three children distracted me for almost 30 years. Now my youngest child has flown the coop, so I’m beginning to entertain thoughts of making that fantasy into a reality. Does this qualify as a mid-life crisis? I always thought it would be fun to have one of those!
At this point, I’ve started thinning out the things that fill my house and begun filling my brain with the vast amount of information on the net. I may be a tad bit overwhelmed. I’ve read the tricks and tips for starters and perused the articles. I’m just getting started with reading the forums. Thank goodness I’m not in a crisis situation. I think it may take a year or two to read all the info y’all are offering (and make up my mind about a vehicle).
I am curious about the gathering (RTR) in January of each year. What are the dates for this? The introvert in me says ‘no way’, but I’m getting curiouser and curiouser about this community. I might have to take a week off from this life (work) to check out what y’all are doing.
