My husband and I are just getting started moving towards a full time RV lifestyle...Our goal is to be there in 2-3 years as we have "stuff" we need to unload.

We've been familiarizing ourselves with RV models and like a regular layout. Our favorite is the Columbus/Palomino 325 by Forest River.

Our first question is if anyone has any input on their Forest River RV, good or bad, we want to hear it so we can ask intelligent questions when deciding which dealer we want to work with.

The other, at the moment (lol!), is to see if anyone knows of a good rack that could be used to carry a motorcycle safely on the back of an RV.

We really didn't like how much of the floorplan is eaten up with a toy hauler.

Thank you for any info or suggestions you may have.

Hugs and blessings,

Jo and Chuck

Welcome Jo and Chuck,
Someone may jump in but I can't think of anyone on here who lives in a fifth wheel....

Good luck with your adventure....
Bri
Welcome to you both, 5th wheels are really nice and they have loads of room, my mom lived in one in my yard for years with no problems what so ever, I think they are better set up to live in full time more than any other RV. I can't comment on that brand though, I'm not sure what her's was.

Welcome Jo and Chuck . Glad to have you here ( from another Alabamian)

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you have plenty of time to plan everything which is nice since you will be prepared when the time comes.

Thank you everyone for your posts...We feel so welcomed! Yes, I'm grateful we have enough time to prepare for this change...So much stuff, Yikes!

Hey Jo & Chuck, welcome aboard! Like U guys, I just joined yesterday too, but hey, I can still welcome U, right?

I can SOOOOO relate to the overwhelming undertaking of unloading all the "stuff". I've been at it for nearly a year already myself, & I haven't even scratched the surface! Beginning to look like I'm gonna have to LITERALLY give it all away!

Welcome Jo and Chuck. In the same boat as you and SirJoey. My plan is to prepare my vehicle (haven't truly decided what I want yet), fill it with all I need and everything else goes. Good Luck to you (us all). That 2nd step is a tough one...the first is making the decision!

Rae
