I found out about this forum when researching car living and I'm glad I found this place. I am interested in living in a van for a few months (hopefully less) because I want to relocate to the west. I am not an extremely qualified candidate, especially as an out-of-state candidate, but I will have an associates in computer science next spring so as a local resident (with a PO box as an address) I hope to land a job and plant my feet in the beautiful state of Colorado.

I look forward to learning about the lifestyle, and getting advice from the experienced people here!

When are you thinking of arriving? It does get very cold here in the winter. People have done it, but I'm of the opinion that when the 5 gallon jug freezes solid it is definitely time to head south.

Colorado is stunning but it can get nippy up top even in the summer. I had a 5 gallon water jug freeze solid down in Denver and it was still fall.

I just didn't even consider it to be a possibility.
Think of all the rent I could have saved ....
