IMG_1872.JPG Hello Everyone,
I've caught the Van bug. I have been watching endless YouTube videos. I have a list of my needs going on Amazon. Hoping to secure a van but will test the waters first in my Hyundai Sonata this summer. I have a indoor cat and need to start practicing with him on a leash and also traveling in the car. He did take a trip with me to NY and MA but stayed in his cat carrier the whole way. He did adjust at my friends homes quite nicely. I guess I'm more nervous about keeping him happy and calm than me on the road. Some of my friends think I'm crazy for planning this, but surprisingly found that my parents are all for it. They have this dream as well to travel, but need to wait until my brother is done school.
Would love feedback on how to convert my lil sedan to a camper. Also, tips for my kitty. Hope to see you on the road soon!!
 Michelle

Most folks that sleep in cars remove the passenger side seats and build a sleeping platform, then use very basic camping equipment for cooking and such, that's pretty much what I did with my Ranger
The cat should be fine, once he adapts to leash and harness, most cats are pretty content when they have a lap, food, and love

Hi Shellbelle and welcome! Your kitty is cute. Best of luck on whatever you choose to do.

Hey Art, Thanks for the reply. Took Ollie on a local adventure today, he did fairly well!! Looking into how to remove the passenger seat, getting the help from a neighbor who has tools. Will keep you posted on the process:) Thanks, Michelle
