My father is a 71-year-old Vietnam Veteran.  My son Nicknamed him Popeye when he was a toddler.

He is a big fan of you guy's Youtube Channels.
He sent me the Link to Vanlife As A Solo Female Traveler.
After watching it I talked with my daughter about it.
She did some Youtube watching herself.
She is now a Youtube fan of Knorpp and South.
We do summer vacations, but they have been short because we don't like leaving Popeye at home with the dogs.

Sweetpea is the family clown.
Olive is never far from Popeye.

This was taken days before we found out he had Prostate Cancer.

He doesn't get out of the house much since he sold his bicycle.
When he does he uses a walker.  His legs at times don't want to work for him.

My daughter has been wanting to do a Youtube Channel.
She has a lot of big expensive ideas.
So I suggested she try working with things she already had.
So We came up with Ask Our Grandpa in 2015 but that didn't do much.

We Live Only Once.
So here I am taking a long deep breath.
Trying to figure out how to get over my fear of driving outside my comfort zone.
I know the USA is filled with old highways that are less travelled than Interstates.
So I am figuratively jumping off a cliff, here.

I've narrowed things down to the Class C RV.

A Working Bathroom is a Must.
Popeye being a Prostate Cancer Survivor.
Sometimes he can't make it to the bathroom in time.

2000 or younger but not a new one.
Needing work inside is ok.
We all have something we want to make it a Home Away from Home.

Hoping to find one under $6,000.00 before next summer vacation.

Thank you for reading.

I'm really excited about meeting and getting to know you guys better.
It's also my hopes that once we get out on the road Dad will get to meet Bob in person.

Taking a deep breath in search of the Post button.  LOL

Hello, and welcome, Petina!

This place is full of valuable info and some pretty nice folks, feel free to dive right in.

Hello Gardenias and Queen
Thank you
It was a big personal challenge in pressing the post button.
My daughter is excited about the idea of RVing next summer.
She is watching the Youtube videos on Wifi on the road.
I tell my mother about leaving the post.
To have her remind me that she has fears to small spaces.
On Top of my fears of driving outside of my comfort zone.

My daughter has mentioned to me how we can take the RV to check out Collages in a couple of years.
Her talks like that make me determined to face my fears so we can do just that.

My next step is to get out of the house to sit in the driver's seat of some of the Class C's
To work up the courage to test drive some.

My birthday is in March.
It's my hope to find one by then.
