Hello all.

Newbie here that has been dreaming of this lifestyle for quite awhile now. Seems like I've been all over the map on deciding between an RV, Truck Camper or Cargo Trailer. Kinda leaning towards a cargo trailer build, as I like the idea of a blank slate and building it to suit my needs; plus it's seems a lot cheaper in the end. Hopefully in the next 12-16 months I'll finally take the leap, just need to keep saving those pennies. Thanks Bob and everyone for the great ideas and tips on this site, helped a lot. :)

Welcome aboard Fluxxer.
As time goes by and you read more that plan will evolve , that's a great way to go.
As the questions pop up , start a thread and post 'em...

Hey there, Fluxxer. I'm moving back to Michigan, the Grand Rapids area, and am thinking of doing the same thing. We should keep in touch.

Welcome to the CRVL Forum :)

Stick with us and you'll learn a lot here.

The last time I was going through Atlanta Georgia I met a guy in a Public Library as I was checking my
email there.   He showed me this Stealth Cargo Trailer build he was wanting to  replicate.   he said he
would want to have an A/C unit on top (probably with heat too)  and tow it behind a later model car or
pickup.   He indicated that he may have some magnetic signs to put on the doors of his tow vehicle
that would lead one to believe the trailer was full of "samples" of the things he sells.

Here is the Youtube Videos

In my first site below on Van Conversion,  I've designed a c/t that would serve my needs when using a
simple converted Van.  It would give me most of the convenience of a large RV when used together and
when I detach and park the trailer, I would have the Van to use to tour for a day or two before returning to the c/t.  Thus the Van could be used for errands from camp, or side trips in areas where it would be difficult to park a Van c/t combo.   You're welcome to look at it.

Welcome I'll be back in traverse city for the summer u could come visit, along with everyone else in the world! It is seriously overcrowded but beautifulas it gets closer, if u want to come up, let me know.

Mitten Meandering - I love it!
GTG = Get ToGether, in this instance.

I think we have enough mitten dwellers to have a nice little gathering, and we certainly have some nice places to gather
