Hello to all, I am a newbie member. My husband and I have four kids. He is disabled and I am not working at the moment. I am a seasonal worker and only work from Sept to December. So we love to camp a lot! I am also a writer and love being out in the quiet forest working away. We live on Vancouver Island B.C. Canada and&nbsp;absolutely&nbsp;love camping here. We've been tenters for years, with the kids and the dog etc. but I think it is time to move on up! <img src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle"><br><br>Today I bought a 6 X 12 enclosed cargo trailer from my brother for $50! Score! It`s in excellent hardly used condition. It`s been sitting in my back yard for two years and he decided that he&nbsp;doesn't&nbsp;want it anymore. Great for us, too bad for him.<br><br>My husband thinks I am crazy but I am going to convert it into a camping trailer as we can not afford to buy one and with my husbands disability, he sadly can not camp in a tent anymore.&nbsp;<br><br>So I am here to get some tips and meet some others who have gone through the conversion thing. I am not a builder at all, but my father used to have a construction company with both of my brothers, which makes me pretty confident that I can do most of it myself with a lil`tutoring.<br><br>Glad to be here and learn from you all! Violetmoon, if all else fails, ask Bob, the owner of this forum. He's been living in a converted 6'x10' cargo trailer himself for a good while, and has a boatload of info on how to do this, although he'll be the first to tell you....there's no "wrong" way to convert anything if you do what works for YOU.

By the way....did I mention how jealous I am of your good fortune? $50 cargo trailer!
