New member of the forum community here, and long-time follower of Bob Wells' great, selfless work. He is truly changing lives. A sincere thank you to him and all the folks helping to create and maintain all these excellent resources, free for everyone.
I joined the forums to ask the question; Is anyone interested in caravanning with us into Mexico when the border opens to "non-essential" travelers? We'll be crossing at one of the easternmost Texas border points. Wasn't sure which topic to put this under...
Thanks again for the opportunity to be here!

Welcome Augie...…………

We're not interested in going to South Texas/ Mexico..…but we often travel with a group of "friends"....We all have our Comfort Zone

A SUGGESTION: Introduce yourself more....Tell what you drive...….WHO is "Us"....What you like to do...How you like to camp...….

That's HOW you make some friends here...…(Nobody wants to be stuck traveling with the unknown "a-hole" )

Good Luck with your journey

You're right, of course. I would have reservations myself. But I decided to keep it brief. I will be happy to share the 'deets' with someone seriously considering this journey. Thank you for the reply!

Welcome to the CRVL forums AugieDog ! I second abnorm's suggestion to tell us more about yourself. We're a friendly group but you'll have a hard time convincing most of to go off into the unknown with a stranger. I hope you're planning on staying along the coast. Inland Mexico is heating up.

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

My idea of traveling into Mexico is to walk across the border, buy 4 bottles of blood pressure medicine, eat lunch, and walk back across....

Cheap and safe.
