Hello everyone, just joined the website. Recently retired, looking forward to spending some time enjoying nature and a few close friends (and not paying a mortgage) Been following along with Bob's adventures and listening to his words of wisdom,  hoping to get on the road in the next few months. I would love to met some like minded folks and make some new friends once I get going. Until then, drive carefully and be kind whenever you can.

Thx everyone for the welcome. To JT, not really sure yet. I have an older Tacoma with a topper, probably use that and a good canvas tent for now. My Tacoma is so reliable it will be hard to trade it in for a van or small Class C but eventually will probably happen. I suppose if I was forced to make a choice I would probably go with a van similar to Bob's (I wish), seems to be a good balance of the necessities.
