Heated wiper blades

Does anyone have any experience with heated wiper blades? Gimmick or good items?

I'm not sure if they are gimmicky or not, but personally, I couldn't justify the cost and hassle of running power to them. If your blades/windshield ice up frequently while driving, just get some of the de-icing windshield washing fluid for a couple bucks.

Gimmick. You can't transfer heat that fast. Use defroster vent air properly and de-ice fluid.

yes off road that is what I do. but is it good for the environment to have people making backyard brews of who knows what to fill the need of regular people. insanity rules kalifornia, common sense is long gone. highdesertranger
