After four months and change up here at 6800 feet in Grand Teton National Park, I am preparing to depart for a cross-country marathon roadtrip back to North Carolina. Launch date is September 16. States I will hit along the way: South Dakota*, Nebraska*, Colorado*, Iowa*, Missouri*, Kansas*, Illinois*, Kentucky, and Tennessee. I have not visited starred states yet. I will try to keep my blog readers up to date for the six days I am on the road.

To pass the time in the interim, I accomplished my goal of getting pulled over by US Park Police, and getting off without even a warning. Read about it here: http://winterwanderer.over-blog.com/2016/09/pulled-over-in-a-national-park.html

My upcoming travels and adventures will all be posted on my blog. They possibly include a homeless Internet hitchhiker and an outboard motor riding shotgun across the nation. Living the moneyed life in Myrtle Beach for a few days, and exploring the Smoky Mountains with family and friends from the Tennessee side.

Thanks to all the blog readers here at CRVL! You guys (and gals) rock!

Right on safe travels love south Carolina and your writing! Great idea on truck school!

Back home in North Carolina. I made it with several days to spare. Got my commercial learner's permit and medical certificate along the way as well.
