Hello everyone, I'm Italian and I live in Italy. I have a used Swedish caravan from 1998, model Polar 520 GS, suitable for winter camping. I speak English and German, and of course Italian. I live in the Alps, near the Brenner Pass.

Good road. :)

Welcome! How long is your caravan? What do you pull it with? In what type of places do you camp? Alone, or with friends? Tell us more.

I have a BMW 525d Touring 200 hp 6 cilinders from 2008. The Polar caravan is 6.80 long with rudder, 2.57 high and 229 wide. Weight at full load 1290 kilograms. do not use it very much, only in summer to go to the beach on a camping tripwith my wife, but in a couple of years I will retire and maybe I will become a free camper all year.

Some photos of my caravan and my car.

Hello!
Some friends have been wanting to visit Italy!

Looks clean and roomy... nice caravan... what we would call a trailer in the states. Where do you go with it?

In Italy  ( and in Europe) trailers are called caravan and roulotte also; I go to Croazia, Istria, Rovigno, Toscana, near to Monte Argentario, mostly on the shores of the Mediterranean sea. I have the trailer from may 2015. I can not use it as often as I would like.

Camping on the shores of the Mediterranean! Can you get right down on the beach? Are there actual campgrounds?

How do you dispose of your waste water tanks in Europe? Are there dump stations like in the US?
