Hello CRVL members. Have been lurking and learning for awhile. Actually have been a full timer (van) for a short while. Building out and dwelling at the same time is quite the adventure in itself (much respect to those of you who have/are doing it in such a manner). Like many of you have expressed; from the previous post I have read through, most people just don't get it. The first thing that was said when I revealed my intentions to van-dwell was, "You can't do that!" said in more of a command than a statement. They just did not get it. The shedding into a new skin has been revitalizing. The peace and tranquility of this new life is amazing...even with trying to figure out all of the solar information that has popped no less than two brain cells. i'madummin'down... and that ain't right. Looking forward to acquiring one of those coveted stinkin' badges at some point. One has to have goals to strive for!

Gypsyjoker if that's what you are striving for come on over to the YARC thread and tell us why you ain't right. Just wanting one of the badges tells us you ain't right already but we like stories.

Looks like you already have a start on the rig and have decided to not take the advise of "Those That Say Nooooooo !"

We like pics so if you have any of your van or the build phase we encourage you to show them off ! Start a thread in Captain's Log.

If you want a "Stinkin' Badge" just tell us why you think you belong to the ranks of those that "Ain't Right" in the You Ain't Right thread.

Welcome aboard, Sailor.  Welcome to the land of fringe-dwellers; those committed to doing things a lot of people say are crazy. 
Actually, here in Colorado, most of the people I know have been supportive.  All but one of my family members have crabbed and complained that I'm crazy ... I don't really care much about what she says.  She spends her day in front of a TV , and harrassing people on Facebook!  

Those nights I've sat out under the stars and just thunk about things are wonderfully remembered.  It's a great life.  
Enjoy it.  You're in the right group, even if "We Ain't Right"!
