I'm so excited! It's a 2012. It has a lot of miles (125K) but I had it checked by a mechanic.

It's got a battery, inverter, fan, it's insulated. I'm looking to add solar and maybe change the bed structure. It's gas and natural gas. I might remove the natural gas component if I change the transmission. etc.

So stoked!

You lucky girl you - and mostly finished as well!   :shy:  You benefited from someone elses change of mind I suppose.  Price?
The older (pre-2014's) had the smaller motor (2.0 vs 2.5), taller roof and were not available as a longer wheelbase yet several owners that I've read prefer the taller roof to a longer wheelbase.  I've been mulling them over due to their economy, stealthiness and driveability.

You did great!  For solar, be careful as most anyone can see that on the top, so consider where you are parking... Read up on the electrical threads on the sub-forum (electrical) and you will learn more than you thought possible in the hundreds of pages. Pay attention to whatever SternWake says about batteries and charging systems. "Jimindenver" knows a lot about solar...

Welcome and I'm jealous!  :D

I was in analysis paralysis for weeks. It's the tradeoffs! And I wanted something that wasn't a blank slate. I know-- most people want a blank slate. It was $14.5K.

The person I bought from buys vans, outfits them, uses them, and then upgrades to a bigger van. This is his second van.

This is a dream come true for me! This forum has helped me so much already, thanks!

I'm also meeting w/ a welder this week to check out other upgrades that I'm interested in.

Congrats! Boy, this looks pretty roomy in the inside, incredible!

I like the interior. Very nice! I wish I was comfortable hacking a large hole in the ceiling of my TC, but I'm not. I also suck at woodwork.
Fortunately I live in a mild part of California, so insulation isn't really an issue..

Congrats on the find!
