I imagine that most people when they get such news will be super bummed. Wouldn't want you to have a heart attack while you are driving or watching a hungry predator.

Dean I have been too busy lately to tell you good morning. I hope your surgery is a success and and your recovery is speedy!

Good Morning Dean. I hope your not going through this physical decline alone. I have found the medical model, which medical professionals have to adhere to for treatment is lacking. It is not the fault of the care providers. Many care providers are endearing and empathetic. I hope you have a friend or family member that can be an advocate for you, so your not left falling thru the cracks of the medical providers and insurance companies. I am rooting for you. Cheers! Getting a pacemaker implant is pretty common surgery now days. I got my pacemaker/defibrillator implant July 7, 2014, and was back to work on the 13th. The worst part was not raising the left arm over shoulder height until the leads in my heart were anchored well. That took about 3 weeks. Other than that, recovery was quick. Then its a device check every 3-6 months, depending on what your cardiologist wants. Mines every 3. But if you get a remote monitor, which I have, they can do the check thru that and you dont have to go in to the office unless there is an issue. Good luck and hope you have a quick recovery.

Before my brother in law had his pacemaker installed he didn't feel good at all. His symptoms had come on so slowly that he thought it was old age. Afterwards he had a lot more energy and generally felt better. Without the pace maker he'd probably have been dead years ago.

Hello Dean.I've been gone for a month but I'll be home this week.If you are so inclined, come on down and help me sow my mustard greens and turnip greens for the winter.

Ha! Thanks for the laugh, I used that excuse a lot when I lived in Kentucky, now I'm in the desert I'm just lazy. Keep trying and you'll make it here.

You need to make that heat and humidity go away by Friday when I'll be back in that area.
