I am a 68 year old widower, and ready for a change of life. I have my small farm for sale and hope by next spring or summer to be able to hit the road for a year or two. I have an 8 1/2 truck camper and will pull a cargo trailer behind for toys. I live in Northern Saskatchewan, love the area with all the lakes and forests, but time for a change. I will keep updates on this forum.

Welcome Bob. Looking forward to reading about your adventure.

Hey Bob !
Welcome aboard the good ship CRVL !
We all would like to see a few pictures of your travel rig .
And good luck selling the farm...

Hey tribe......
Does anybody want a farm in Sascatchewan?

Welcome to the CRVL forums, Bob! Glad you found us! I loved Saskatchewan when I was there 30 years ago. It's on the top of my list when I am free, again. I hope you'll join the tribe in the southwest when your plan comes together!

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips & Tricks" post lists some helpful information to get you started. We look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome to the CRVL Forum !   Sounds like a time for new beginnings.  Sorry to hear of your loss but I hope the sunrises   are brighter for you from here on out.

One of the books we talk about here from time to time is titled "Blue Highways: A journey into America" by William "Heat-Moon" Least.   The Blue Highways are the secondary roads on the maps.  Least is a "native American" who had gone through a break up with his wife and went on the road in a Van to "re center himself".
You may find this book interesting just to read and enjoy while preparing for your own journey.
