Georgia PhD looking to payoff debt and become Vandweller

I'm currently $24K in student debt but should have it paid off by May 2019. I'm working a corporate job I don't like to accomplish this.

Then after I'm debt free, I want to start teaching at the University and purchase an affordable van to live in and explore. I'm want to purchase a van (Express, Transit, Econoline) and do the conversion for under $10K.
