I started out with a hightop 1999 Ford one ton to build, as I was still earning a living realized I was not going to EVER do a build. I had a 21 foot trailer that I was paying storage for which seemed like a waste of resources. I settled on a truck with a slide in camper and never looked back.

I can relate to this.

I did the trailer thing for the past 15?years and 4 units.

Then I got a class b, it’s cool that I can drive it to work and pretty much use like a car (almost cause it’s big) and damn thing cost a ton!

But I’m now kinda wishing I had just got a slide in for my 3/4 ton diesel truck. Also 4x4 option is cheaper going this route over outfitting a 4x4 van.
