The header is bolted from the outside with 1/4" stainless lag screws. The window frames are 3/4" plywood that I coated in fiberglass resin.

While prepping for the RV door, I managed to cut my thumb putting me out of work for 2 months. Since I had the solar installed and some power run, we took her out a couple times and we're very happy. Especially when it rained and we weren't in a tent.

The wife said "how soon can you do the toilet?" So that became a priority.

After looking at various cabinet options, I decided to build my own since the size and fit is weird.

I got the door installed with the stairs, one of the best upgrades so far.

That’s really looking nice! Aluminum too!!

I was supposed to redo the wiring last weekend, but the seller sent me random colors rather than the colors I specified, so I hope the correct colors come by next weekend.

The wires I used worked, but we're all black/red and the strands seemed thinner than I liked. So I got 11 colors to color code everything and get it all back together. Then maybe I can put in my last panel and start bolting down the kitchen and get the fridge in

The steering column was bent, cracked, and all the bearings had fallen out. The intermediate shaft from the column to the steering box was also shot. I wanted a tilt wheel anyway, so this was the time to do it.

I used polished forged u joints and a polished shaft to replace the intermediate shaft.

Looks totally cool! Thanks for the detail on the black tank and marine toilet. How's the thumb? Looked like a nasty cut, hope you are healed up from it.  -crofter

Thumb is great, but that was a damn hard lesson.

Wires should be here Friday so I can get stuff rerouted. Also planning my shower, I think I have a plan for a showerloop, I hope anyway.

Got my wires redid and I couldn't be happier. While not fun, the end result is not only better looking, but an upgrade. Using the GXL wire also makes the overall harness smaller. With 10 circuits it is about 1/4 the size it was with 6 circuits. My connections are solid and it looks pretty good, too.

It is looking very nice, it will make a lovely home on wheels.

I can empathize with you about losing two months with a hand out of commission.

I am 6 weeks healing from a fractured left wrist. It has been very frustrating not being able to do much work.

So I got the bulk of the wiring buttoned up, I will finish the switch box tonight. I was able to finally cut and fit my last wall panel, but needs paint still. Because we plan on using it this weekend I went ahead and secured the cabinets and countertop. Also got my battery drawer finished, I will get a pic today as it was very dark when I stopped last night.
