Wonderful resource - I've bookmarked it into my 'travel' section.

Thanks

Looks nice but a quick search and I found it limited and omitting places. Here's two apps I have, the two at the bottom;

Those apps are nice, but only work on a smart phone.
I am not in a position to where I could afford one, I only have a dumb phone.

Well, since you only have a dumb phone, there's plenty of places you can get online.
For example; you can get online at the grocery store. The bank. Unemployment office. Restroom.
See, plenty of places [emoji6][emoji1][emoji23][emoji40][emoji56]

Ok, since everybody here is using a dumb phone, here's a device that doesn't require wifi. You can stay in touch almost 24/7 [emoji23][emoji56]

Love it!!

And yes, I'll update to a 'smarter phone' before I do any amount of travelling. It's just that while I'm grounded here and work out of my home office, there's really no point in having a smart phone.

I realized it's value last winter when I was lost on the backroads in Florida and had to stop at a convenience store to ask directions. Store guy looked up what I needed on my smart phone and I carved it out on a rock with a sharp pointy object....haha!

[emoji1] my next suggestion was going to be a hammer, chisel and stone tablet [emoji375]. Or you can just get what I got my daughter for Christmas a few years back; an "an apple and eye pad"

My Laptop works fine, that is why the website is helpful.

When they make apps that work on a laptop, I will start using them.

Just now I don't have the income to waste on a smartphone.

Sometimes I get the idea my "Smart Phone" is smarter than I am. :)

Pretty soon we'll be typing or doing something and the phone goes "psst, hey stupid, whata you doin?"
"Who, me? You talkin to me?"
"Yeah, you got a problem with that...? Didn't think so."

Psssttt. Greybeard. $20 smartphone net10 Optimus fuel. Android kit kat. Cheap cheap. Don't buy cigarettes this week. Lol. - teasing because have no idea how long these phones will or can last. You don't need to buy net10. Just use it on wifi only.
